Чего делали и зачем - непонятно, что было с двигателем? По видео просто разобрали помыли и собрали и не факт что собрали лучше чем на заводе. Никаких измерений не показано, да в любом автосервисе по двигателям колено да гильзы измерят там же допуски в сотую

The fundamental is that these gentlemen are displaying skills which we in the west have almost completely lost following WW2. My father was an apprentice mechanical engineer in the early 1930's. By 15yr old he was making his own white metal bearings. At 19yr old he headed up a team of eight guys at an airfield repairing military planes. Much later on when I owned my own garages, if the my mechanics needed a special tool, rather than buy one, my father would design and make one on his lathe/in his small workshop. These cultures where they repair instead of discarding everything makes complete sense ... Our planet DOES need saving and the west's adoration of built in, short life, enforced obsolescence is not the answer.
